Health Improvement Partnership (CHIP)
Responsibilities: CHIP provides home visiting
services to pregnant women and children ages 0-6, to improve health and promote
wellness and self-sufficiency in low-income families. The Family Educator
assists the entire family by building on their strengths and addressing such
issues as parenting skills, housing, nutrition, education, employment, and
kindergarten readiness. Ability to build relationships with families and
passion for making a difference in families with socioeconomic challenges,
works in a variety of home settings, understands and appreciates families’
cultural, economic, and social background. Knowledge of
child development and case management preferred.

degree in Human Services or a related field with one-year related experience.

and Pay Information:
40 hours/week. Starting wage range: $14.72-$17.57/hr. (depending upon
qualifications), plus full benefits. Additional compensation for being
bilingual (Spanish/English). Possession of valid driver’s license and good
driving record required
