Location: New River Community Action Administrative
Responsibilities: Provides leadership
to Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) program and planning requirements;
develops CSBG Community Action Plan and reports; provides oversight to agency
client database and low-income community needs assessment; ensures data quality
and accesses program data reports for staff and Board. Researches funding
sources and may be required to develop funding applications; serves as agency
Results-Oriented Management and Accountability(ROMA) Implementer (training
provided) and staff support to Board’s Program, Planning and Evaluation
Committee; provides staff support for the development of the agency Strategic
Plan and progress reports.
degree in Human Services, Planning, Public Administration, or a related field
direct supervision of Program Support/Data Management Technician.
ability to prepare successful proposals and coordinate projects. Driving is an
essential function of this position. Therefore, a good driving record is required.
Full-time, wage, non-exempt position. Starting pay range is $19.72
to $23.55 per hour, dependent upon education and experience. Comprehensive
benefits package offered.
